How is Botox procedure conducted?
In order to reduce bruising you should avoid alcohol for at least a week prior to your Botox or Dysport treatment and anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen or Blood thinners such as aspirin for two weeks prior to your Botox treatment.
The Botox procedure takes a few minutes. Generally, our patients experience very little discomfort thanks to the numbing cream application prior to the injection.
During the treatment, Botox will get injected into your specific facial muscles using a syringe with a tiny needle.
Please avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for at least 12 hours after your Botox treatment.
You should not lie down for at least 3 to 4 hours after your Botox treatment. To keep the toxin from moving somewhere else than where it is supposed to be.
