Dehydration IV Therapy
We offer a specialized dehydration treatment called “Drip IV Therapy” which includes 1 liter of electrolytes and IV fluids. Electrolytes are essential minerals that are needed in order for your body’s muscles to function properly. They also serve other purposes related to boosting energy and balancing the pH in your bloodstream. As for IV fluids, these provide your bloodstream with vital nutrients which allow your body to rehydrate.
Obviously, rehydration is needed when you are dehydrated. If you exercise or spend time outside in the sun, you will dehydrate quickly due to sweating. It is important to stay as hydrated as possible throughout the day by drinking plenty of fluids. If you do this, you will notice how much easier it is for your body to function normally.
When you are ill, your body becomes more exhausted of its resources and dehydration occurs more quickly. It can even be challenging to stay hydrated while ill because you will experience regular nausea and fatigue.
Electrolytes are not found in regular water. In fact, anytime you sweat, you are actually shedding electrolytes from your body. Even though the muscles of your body need electrolytes to function, your body doesn’t produce them naturally. The only way to receive electrolytes is by consuming the right supplements, food, and beverages every day.
The “Drip IV Therapy” formula, using electrolytes and an IV fluid blend, is designed to quickly rehydrate your body and alleviate your symptoms of dehydration. You will then feel completely refreshed. This treatment takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes and can be done anywhere for total convenience.
Understanding Dehydration
If you are an active person who is always on the go, you may not be drinking enough fluids as you are in motion all day. As a result, you will become dehydrated and experience symptoms such as headache, fatigue, nausea, rapid heart rate, lightheadedness, and poor mental clarity.
If you fail to drink the proper amount of fluids during the day, then dehydration will come upon you fast. It is difficult to stay hydrated if you are on the go all day and don’t always have access to water. Fortunately, you don’t need to rely on water and beverages as your only fluids. You can also receive hydration from foods.
– Men need to consume an average of 15.5 cups (7 liters) of fluid per day.
– Women need to consume an average of 11.5 cups (7 liters) of fluid per day.
These are only estimates since each person requires a different amount of fluid per day, depending on their gender, age, medical history, and lifestyle. For instance, a man who plays professional basketball for a living will need to consume more fluids each day than a computer programmer who is stationary for the majority of the day.
