We are looking for a minimum of 30 participants to take part in our study to observe the effects of semaglutide combined with body contouring technology. Inmode EvolveX is a state-of-the-art, FDA cleared body contouring device with proven results in burning fat, skin tightening, and muscle toning.
Participant Eligibility:
- Your eligibility will be primarily determined during your consultation with Dr. Kat Khorrami
- Be 18+ years old
- Receive weekly semaglutide injections and Inmode appointments
- Have weekly height, weight, BMI, and abdominal girth measurements (upper, middle, and lower) done during your semaglutide/Inmode appointment
- Be okay with before and after pictures of your abdomen area
- Have excess body fat that you have had trouble to lose despite diet and exercise
- Be able to attend weekly appointments to receive injections of Semaglutide and EvolveX treatments
- Monthly appointments with Dr. Kat to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments
- Ongoing education and support during your weekly appointments to achieve and maintain your weight loss results
You May Not Qualify For This Study If You Have Any Of The Following Conditions:
- Angioedema
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Low blood sugar
- Suicidal thoughts
- Depression
- Pancreatitis
- Decreased kidney function
- Medullary thyroid cancer
- Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
- Kidney disease
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
- Type 1 diabetes
Side Effects May Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, stomach (abdomen) pain, headache, tiredness (fatigue), upset stomach, dizziness, feeling bloated,
belching, gas, stomach flu, heartburn, and runny nose or sore throat
Less common:
- Depression, suicidal thoughts, tahcycardia, anaphylaxis, kidney damage, hypoglycemia, gallstones, and pancreatitis.
